The Lite Stuff

I have been drawing cartoons for many years. The title of my cartoon panels is THE
LITE STUFF. The premise of my cartoons is that America has a predominantly
commercial culture.  My cartoons fit right into this culture.  I use the methods of
commercial advertising to look at everyday objects (stuff) and events from a humorous
(lite) perspective. The humor often comes from the interplay between word and object.
So here goes.

February 9: Dartmouth College plans to ban hard alcohol on campus.

February 10: SAD is Seasonal Affective Disorder.
February 11: Harper Lee’s newly discovered manuscript is a precursor to “To Kill A Mockingbird.”

February 12: Britain’s Royal and Ancient Golf Club has decided to admit women and has offered honorary membership to 7 women.

          February 13

February 14: “Fifty Shades of Grey” seems to be the starting point for the media’s take on this year’s Valentine’s Day.

          February 16: Presidents’ Day!

            February 17
          February 18

February 19: From my collection of 50 visual puns on the word “stick,” which I call “THE STICKS.”
